Bristol Rovers - West Ham U23
EFL v Bristol Rovers

Academy away against League 1 side Bristol Rovers tonight.

Hopefully we will play a strong U23 side and be interesting to see how they get on at a decent mid table Rovers.

Anyone going?

Went to the Swindon game in the same competition last month. Really good game and Nathan Holland was the best player on the pitch.

2nd of the game for Martinez

Still not good enough for our bench though. I think we should try and flog him for £500k so we can pay back a bit more interest to Sullivan

Martinez he is still unfathomably being ignored by the first team setup. Shameful if this continues.

If this stays as is we will be through to the next stage.
Have one more game at Wycombe on Nov 28 (we play all three teams away) before then.

alwaysaniron Martinez should take a spot on the bench if nothing else to reward him for his performances

If Martinez couldn’t get a look in for the Brighton game, I can’t see him getting a chance anytime soon.

Re: Bristol Rovers - West Ham U23
Only a matter of time until Carroll and Sakho are both injured at the same time. Sakho might even be off in January. Opportunities will come, but it's hard to see Martinez getting a game on merit, even if he scores in every U23 game until Christmas.

Re: Bristol Rovers - West Ham U23
Bilic can't even figure out how to play Hernandez correctly..which is insane.
Picking any more youngsters ain't going to happen this season..because Bilic isnt interested...he..like everyone else are just marking time now.
They won't sack him to save the balls ache and a few bob.
He ain't shifting for monetary reasons
We don't get a say.
Everyone's marking time..again

I see Bristol Rovers made several changes from their last league match. Looks like they fielded a few inexperienced youngsters?
